I'd love to share my art with you and hopefully inspire some of you to take a leap and come and learn how to paint however daunting it may seem!  I'm a C&G level 3 qualified art tutor and love encouraging those with little or no experience how to create beautiful pieces of art.  My courses are aimed at beginners and improvers and you can be assured of a relaxing time with plenty of support.

During the pandemic, I wondered why I was painting and whether it was a worthy hobby. This led me to painting 100 watercolours to raise money for local charities and also creating three portraits for NHS staff with the support of the campaign by Tom Croft #portraitsforNHSheroes. 

In 2024 I was a wildcard for Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year and had a fabulous visit to Snowdonia National Park.   I painted three oil sketches and even had a brief headshot shown on the programme.  You may spot me in episode 2 of season 10. 

I exhibit across Norfolk.  You can find me at the Royal Norfolk Show, Swaffham Rotary Art exhibition as well as local exhibitions held by Swanton Morley Art.  I have paintings in private collections including France and of course, lots of Norfolk customers.

I have been shortlisted in several competitions.  My painting 'Bee on Lavender' was exhibited at the NEC as part of an exhibition called 'simply the best'. My painting 'Super Whooper' was shortlisted for the SAA artist of the year competition. I love to enter competitions and support my learners to do the same.
